WHAT IS THE MASTERS'
CLUB?
The CTA ®
Masters Club members are comprised of those who
have committed themselves wholly to becoming a Black Belt and
beyond. They will enter this prestigous club as apprentices and
emerge as 1st Degree Black Belt, then, onto 2nd Degree Black Belt
which are really big steps toward true mastery.
Keep in mind that a true martial artist achieves, not only by
virtue of his/her rank, but with competence, resolve and
humility. Competent in skill, resolve to maintain and increase
skill, and humble in self-opinion.
Our stewardship in the Lord is a lifelong
progression.
Just as the One we serve is our Master, we must also train and
abide in the ways we have been taught, and to do so we must be of
a mindset (Romans 12:2) to transform ourselves not merely by
living for each moment of self-mastery, but to
serve our generation as we were born for such a
time as this - serving our King as kings on this earth.
As members of the Masters' Club we are to consider ourselves as
undergraduates; as lifelong disciples!
